Frequently Asked Questions about the Conversion
What does this conversion mean for me?
As a member of the First State Bank family, you already have access to your funds at our expansive, state-wide ATM network. As we finalize the conversion, you will receive your new First State Bank debit (or ATM) card and will gain access to your new online banking tools.
Will my account number change?
Only loan accounts will receive an update to their account numbers. To enable a smooth transition, we've made sure that current automatic payments and coupon books will continue to work without interruption. Deposit account numbers remain the same and there will be no need to order new checks.
When will my new Visa® debit card arrive?
New debit cards will be mailed on Wednesday, September 4th. While we encourage you to activate your card immediately upon receipt, please note that your new card will not be loaded with your balance until the end of the conversion process. Don't worry, we'll include a reminder of this along with added details with your new debit card when it arrives.
When will I have access to the new online banking site?
Your current account access at bankofbertrand.com will continue to work all the way up until Friday, September 13th. Starting the week of Monday, September 16th, we invite you to experience your new online banking site here at fsbloomis.com. Please note the Quick Start guide for tips on the speediest way to get up and running with your new online banking account.
Will I be able to pay bills online?
Yes! Our new online banking site provides an opportunity for you to pay bills online quickly and easily.
